Supervised Visitation

Visitation for non-custodial parents/caregivers to visit with children with court-ordered supervision.

Supervised Exchange

Supervision to aid in the peaceful transaction of a child from one parent to another to avoid adult conflict in hand-off’s

DOC In-Person

Visitation offered to incarcerated individuals inside the DOC facility.

DOC Virtual

Visitation offered to incarcerated individuals via Video Visitation outside of the DOC facility.

Holiday Visits

Based on provider availability, visits may be scheduled on national holidays so families can spend time together on important dates.

Transportation

TTL offers transportation of the children to and from visits to ensure a smooth transition -recommended if there are RO’s, PO’s, or for high conflict cases.

Visitation with 4+ children

Certain cases may require two VS’s in order to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. TTL is willing to accommodate large families and cases requiring 2 VS’s.

Visitation with Abuse Allegations

TTL is willing to accommodate extra measures to ensure a child’s safety if a case has abuse allegations.

Therapeutic Visitation

Therapeutic Visitation is meant to be a guided visitation. This can be beneficial in many situations. Examples can range from when a parent has not been in the child’s life for a long time or trauma related to the monitored parent or child. This service can be extremely beneficial to both the child and the family.

Is Therapeutic Visitation considered Therapy? No, it is not, it is a guided visitation. Where the monitor will help assist in difficult conversations if they come up in a healthy way for the child. If the conversation is no longer healthy for the child, the Graybill Solutions well trained staff will redirect the conversation in a healthy way for the child.

New Client Intake Process

Our steps from the first call to having your first visit:
Step 1
We will start with a phone call to get an understanding of the agreement, review court documents, handle concerns, and decide on a visitation schedule. This will be our initial conversation about your situation. We aim to learn about your situation and make a plan that works for everyone involved. This process will be done with both parents separately.
Step 2
Fill out and sign the intake paperwork and rules of visitation. Get the signed paperwork back to the location facilitating your visits. Completing these documents promptly helps staff review important details, confirm expectations, establish safety guidelines, coordinate scheduling, and prepare a secure, respectful environment before supervised visitation services officially begin.
Step 3
In addition to the paperwork, our staff may request further information, such as a recent photo of the child/children, a copy of your driver's license, and any relevant details about the case. Such examples would include stay-away orders, orders of protection, allergies, medical concerns for the child, or any other major concerns we should be aware of related to visitation.

Rules for Supervised Visitation are as follows:

You must not be under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, illegal substances, or any impairing prescription medication. No drugs, paraphernalia, or related items are permitted on-site.
Corporal punishment or any form of physical discipline is strictly prohibited.
Harsh, threatening, inappropriate, or offensive language directed toward the child, custodial parent, Visit Specialist, or others will not be tolerated. Promises or talk of future plans outside of visitation are prohibited.
Discussions of court matters, custody disputes, or adult conflicts must be avoided entirely in the presence of the child.
You may take still photographs during the visit if previously approved, but video recording is not permitted under any circumstance to protect the privacy and comfort of all participants.
No unapproved visitors are permitted. This means anyone who is not listed on the court order and/or agreed upon by all parties.
You are responsible for the care and engagement of your child(ren) during visits, including toileting, feeding, and activity planning, without relying on the Visit Specialist for parenting duties, unless the court order stipulates otherwise.
All interactions should reflect a calm, positive, and age-appropriate parenting style.
The Visit Specialist has the full authority to implement boundaries and practices of their own on a case-by-case basis that you must abide by.
The court order must be followed by all participating parties at all times.
Any attempt to challenge the Visit Specialist’s authority, interfere with safety protocols, or violate this agreement may result in promptly ending the visit, or if necessary, termination of services. A verbal warning and documentation in the Visit Report will be implemented, then a written report warning, then termination of visitation if the parent continues to violate terms.
The Visit Specialist must remain present for the entirety of the visit and within eyesight and earshot at all times. No whispering, muffled talking, texting/messaging on a phone, passing notes, attempting to be alone with the child(ren), etc.
*Note: All Visitation Specialists are Mandated Reporters, therefore any suspected abuse/neglect to the child(ren) shall be reported to Centralized Intake

Frequently Asked Questions

Where are visits held?
Visits are held at a safe, neutral, and therapeutic setting in the community or in our Culpeper or Madison office locations. There is a venue fee if the visits are held in our office locations of $55.00/hour plus the supervision fee.
Supervised visitation sessions vary in length depending on the needs and wants of the family and the visitation monitor assigned. The visitation monitor will work directly with the family in order to meet their needs and possible time frames and duration of the visit.
Unfortunately, insurance does not cover supervised visitation services. Please call 540-935-0945 for more information regarding pricing. Graybill Solutions accepts multiple forms of payment for services, including: VISA, MasterCard, cash and check.
